The “Short Course” is a two-day introductory course on cast gold indirect restorations (Tucker style) and direct gold restorations (gold foil).

 

This year the course will be prior to the Annual Meeting. The course reviews the core principles of inlay preparations along with impression taking and temporization. The participants insert a 2-surface gold inlay,  finish the margins, and polish the restoration.

 

On the direct gold side, we review the principles of how direct gold restorations work, along with preparation design, insertion/condensations of the gold, as well as finishing and polishing.
